Kevin Ward

Director

Kevin was a co founder of Melton Care Services along with Lynda Rowland in 2012 and has directed the financial operation of the business since then. Kevin holds a masters in business administration and has a gained a wealth of experience in the care sector. Prior to this Kevin has successfully formed and ran his own company and worked at management level for a large multi-national corporation.

Zoe ward

Zoe Ward

Operations Director

Zoe has worked within the care sector for 24 years, Zoe has extensive experience within residential care, domiciliary care and also brings her financial experience with her to this role to ensure all of our management team are supported and run effectively. Zoe has a level 7 diploma in leadership and management of health and social care.

Zoe is passionate about dignity and respect within community care and this is filtered throughout the whole organisation and is evident at service delivery level.

Lynda

Lynda Rowland

Managing Director

Lynda has been working in the care sector for over 45 years, having worked in a variety of roles which include managing busy domiciliary care agencies and residential homes for the elderly and also people with mental health issues.

Lynda is very proactive with the management team to ensure Melton Care Services is focused on person centred care and not 'one size fits all'. Lynda's experience ensures Melton care services remains a stable robust company that offers the highest standard of care to all of the service users and provides employment and career opportunities for local communities.

The company takes great pride in delivering a care service that we would all wish for our own families, when the time comes that you decide to have some support it needs to be empathetic and of a high standard.

Kerry Sheppard

Kerry Sheppard

Registered Manager, Wigston Branch

Kerry brings over 17 years of experience in health and social care, alongside her Level 3 and Level 5 qualifications and a Level 3 in Dementia Care. Her knowledge is matched by a genuine passion for making a difference in people’s lives.

Kerry’s commitment to care is deeply personal. Inspired by her own experiences supporting her nan, she is dedicated to ensuring that individuals can remain in the comfort of their own homes, living happy, dignified, and fulfilling lives.

As a Registered Manager, Kerry leads with empathy, understanding, and pride. She values her team immensely and believes that strong, compassionate leadership comes from never forgetting where you started. By staying grounded and connected to her roots, she continues to support and inspire her team to deliver outstanding care every day.

Gemma

Gemma Macleod

Registered Manager Melton Mowbray

Gemma, the Registered Manager in Melton Mowbray, she holds a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care, alongside a Level 6 Diploma in Business Management. With over 20 years of experience across business and finance, she brings a well-rounded and strategic approach to delivering high-quality care.

Having lived in Melton Mowbray all her life, Gemma has a deep-rooted passion for her community and a strong desire to ensure local people receive the very best care, always delivered with respect and dignity.

Gemma works closely with service users and their families, offering clear guidance, reassurance, and support in navigating care needs and funding options. Her approach is hands-on, compassionate, and focused on achieving positive outcomes for every individual.

Rebecca Brewin

Kirsty Hudson

Deputy manager wigston /hinckley

Kirsty brings over 11 years of experience within the health and social care sector, having progressed from frontline care through to Registered Manager. She holds a Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care and has developed a wealth of practical knowledge and experience throughout her career.

After taking some time away from management to focus on raising her son, Kirsty joined Melton Care Services as a Senior Carer. Her experience, commitment and natural leadership qualities were quickly recognised, leading to her promotion to Deputy.

Having worked her way up from delivering care herself, Kirsty understands the importance of supporting both clients and the staff who care for them. She is passionate about person-centred care and believes every individual should be treated with the same compassion, dignity and respect that she would expect for a member of her own family.

Kirsty is committed to ensuring people feel safe, valued and supported while maintaining their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

Fathima Yakoob

Fathima Yakoob

Branch Manager, Shepshed

Fathima brings a strong academic and professional foundation to her role, holding a Master’s degree in Business Management, a Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice, a Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care Management, and a Level 3 qualification in Caregiving.

She is deeply passionate about making a positive difference in people’s lives, with a strong focus on promoting dignity, independence, and overall quality of life for every individual she supports.

As Branch Manager, Fathima is driven to lead her team in delivering high-quality care while also nurturing staff development. She is committed to creating a positive, respectful environment where both clients and team members feel valued, supported, and empowered.
